Pub Chef/Cook
The Galleon is a beautiful, canal side pub with great food. It is very seasonal and gets incredibly busy during the summer months and much quieter during the winter months, so we are looking for someone who is flexible, quick on their feet with a keen eye for detail and prepared to join in to our little family where teamwork and reliability is key.
Shifts can vary from short 3hr shifts to 10hr shifts, but you’ll never be out later than 10.30pm at the absolute latest.
Easy menu, full training given, however, the right candidate will be capable of picking up the running of a busy shift very quickly
25-40hrs approx per week. Split shifts on week days.
Must be over 18.
Must have experience of a busy kitchen.
Must have a good eye for detail and keep the kitchen in a spotless condition.
It is a seasonal pub, which is very busy in the summer and very quiet in the winter, therefore, there is a lot of time spent alone during quiet periods.
Due to Covid, there is a temporary menu and certain restrictions.
£9-£12/hr depending on experience
